Welcome to This Art of Mine. We are a pottery painting art studio located in the beautiful Kent countryside. Pottery painting is a fantastic activity for people of all ages. You are welcome to come and give it a try, and simply ‘drop in’ during opening hours. Below are some more details about how it works to give you all the information you need ahead of your visit.

Our normal Opening Hours are:
Every weekend 10am-5pm
Every Tuesday evening 7pm-9pm
Every day during the school holidays (10am-5pm)
Please note timings may change around bank holidays.
How it works
When you arrive at the studio you will be greeted by one of our friendly members of staff who will show you around the studio, make sure you have a table and explain how it works. You will then pick the ceramic piece you like the look of and you can begin painting. A member of staff will be around to answer any questions and offer tips and techniques to help you get the best result. When you have finished painting your pieces are paid for and left with us to be fired. They are ready to be collected one week later and pieces are kept for 28 days.
Drop in
There is no need to book unless you have a group of 6 or more. You can just drop in during our opening times above to paint pottery or design a t-shirt or bag.

Prices
All our pottery is individually priced, you simply select the piece you want from the shelves. Pottery items start from £12 (for the smallest) and go up to £50 for our very large items. Mugs, bowls and plates are between £16-22. We have hundreds of items so there is something for everyone’s budget. Firing, paints and studio time is all included in the price.
Collection and postage
All pottery items are ready for collection in one week. Come and collect from the studio anytime during our opening hours. We keep all items for 28 days. If you need longer to collect please call us to ensure we keep your piece. For those who live further afield we can post items out from £5 per item. Please note that this may take a little longer than a week to arrive.
Classes
If you would like to extend your knowledge even further we also offer pottery painting and clay classes. During these workshops you will learn new skills and techniques and create a beautiful pieces to keep or give as a gift. These classes take place every Tuesday evening (7pm-9pm) and some weekends. T-shirt and bag designing
As an alternative to pottery painting for those that want to take something home on the day, you can design and paint your own t-shirt or bag. Draw a picture on paper, paint it with our special paints and we print it for you onto a t-shirt or bag. Once it’s printed it is totally washable and can be worn straight away. T-shirts cost £18 for children and £20 for adults, bags cost £20. this includes everything.
Baby hand and footprints
Capturing your baby’s hand or footprint when they are small makes a treasured keepsake for you and a great gift for close family and friends. At the studio we can help you capture your child's prints onto ceramics or into clay, either during one of our baby print sessions, or during the studio’s opening hours.
