How it works

When you arrive at the studio you will be greeted by one of our friendly members of staff who will show you to your table and explain how it works. You will then pick the ceramic piece you like the look of and you can begin painting. Alternatively you can book on to a clay session and use your hands to make a unique item out of clay. A member of staff will be around to answer any questions and offer tips and techniques to help you get the best result. When you have finished painting or making your items from clay, your pieces are paid for and left with us to be fired in our kilns. Painted items will be ready to be collected one week later, and pieces you have made out of clay will be ready two weeks later. All pieces are kept for 28 days once they have been fired.

Book a Table

We look forward to welcoming you to the studio and ask that you book a place for a time and date to suit you.

T-shirt designing

As an alternative to pottery painting for those that want to take something home on the day, you can design and paint your own t-shirt. Draw a picture on paper, paint it with our special paints and we print it for you onto a t-shirt. Once it’s printed it is totally washable and can be worn straight away. T-shirts cost £20 for children sizes and £22 for adult sizes, this includes everything.

“I recently visited This Art of Mine for a pottery painting session, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, it was a truly fantastic experience. I was blown away right from the start by the incredible selection of pottery items available to choose from. Whether you want to create something practical like a mug or a bowl, or something purely decorative, there is truly something for everyone. The studio itself is clean, tidy, and exceptionally comfortable, providing the perfect space to relax and let your creativity flow. What really made the day special was the wonderful staff. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and brilliant at giving advice and suggesting different painting techniques to help bring our ideas to life.
